RAF Spadeadam is an isolated RAF Base in Cumbria. The terrain includes some 9600 acres of forest, sites of special scientific interest (SSSI), farmland, grass areas, tracks, waterfalls and ponds. The base is home to a number of disused buildings, an electricity sub-station, old sewerage works, bunkers, tunnels and a missile launch pad.
