Salisbury Plain: Baden Clump

Baden Clump is an Afghan training village situated within the Salisbury Plain Training Estate in Wiltshire. It was built to provide authentic training facilities with numerous buildings, trees, roads, alleys and stone walls.

Hawley Lake

Hawley Lake Minley stretches over a site of 45 aces (18 Hectares). Minley

One of the main features at Minley is The Bear Pit, an open sandy ground with its rugged landscape that can be dressed up to resemble numerous locations. The rest of this area includes a bridge and is a mixture of woods with open land.

Aldershot

There is a vast network of interconnecting sand and dirt tracks running throughout the area, with a variety of waterholes, banks and rough terrain. There are also paths running through woodland and open country.

Cordilleras Farm

The site consists of stone farmhouse buildings near the Feldom range which is part of the Catterick Training Area.

Ardgartan

Rural training area with hills, woods, tracks and a small loch as well as a building (Skills House) used for training purposes.

Pendine

Test and evaluation area with a long beach, grass dunes and woods. The BBC show Top Gear have twice test driven on the Sands. Carmarthenshire Land Sailing Club is allowed to use the beach for wind-traction activities, including land sailing, kite buggying and kite landboarding.

Salisbury Plain: Copehill Down

Copehill Down is situated within the Salisbury Plain Training Area and is training village with numerous buildings, fences, walls and roads. There are also some railway lines and a few pieces of rolling stock. The camp is set in a flat, rural setting.

Training Camp with extensive grounds, hills, scrub and trees. Various buildings including a medieval barn.
