Salisbury Plain: Greenlands Camp

Greenlands Camp is a small rural training camp situated within the Salisbury Plain Training Area in Wiltshire. The site contains a number of red brick, empty buildings and there is a tarmac road around the site. The immediate surrounding area is grassland and trees.

Cambusbarron

Cross country driving circuit on the Tighnablair training estate near Stirling. Numerous off road tracks and roads with forested vistas

Cape Wrath

Isolated training estate with coastal vistas, sea cliffs and a tidal loch. Mountainous scenery with stone buildings and a harbour with a small stone jetty. There is also a traditional bothy or cottage called Kearvaig Bothy.

Balmacara House

Former school, now training accommodation, situated on the shore of the Kyle of Lochalsh. Great views of the Kyle and forest back-drop to the house. House contains bedrooms, a gym, kitchens, wash rooms and a canteen.

Binhill Firing Range

Coastal firing range on the south coast of the Moray Firth, east of RAF Lossiemouth, one mile from Kingston on the B9015. Shingle beach and open scrubland with tracks and ranges.

RAF Kirknewton

Former active RAF base now home to 661 Glider Squadron with hangars, tarmac roads and large, open grass spaces.

Fort George

Coastal site with a listed red stone 3 storey fort with numerous architectural features including a large parade ground, stone walls and barracks.

Remote Radar station with rural aspects with stone and single story buildings, radar domes and communication towers and a number of pillboxes.
