Lympstone is a training centre for the Royal Marines and is situated next to a muddy estuary near Exmouth in Devon. It is a modern training site with a fully fitted gymnasium and swimming pool, climbing wall and tennis courts as well as sports and astro-turf pitches and a sports stadium. There is an assault course on the site, a 300 seat auditorium and a chapel. Accommodation is in modern designed blocks.
