Avon Camp West is situated on the Salisbury Plain Training Area in Wiltshire. The camp has a number of low built stone buildings with an industrial look to them as well as a large, concrete floored warehouse type building. The camp is in a rural area with tracks and trees surrounding it. There is also a hardstanding for parking and the area is fenced with metal gates.
