Leek Training Area is situated near Leek in North Staffordshire close to the M6 motorway. The training area is situated some 1600 feet above sea level and is formed of a mixture of pasture land and rugged open moorland much of it SSSI designated. There are numerous open spaces wit tracks and old farm buildings.
